A few years ago wearing a hoodie and sweats would be disgraceful and dishonorable to wear in Church. If you were going to a funeral would you wear a bright pink dress or a suit with a cat in space tie? No, because that is disgraceful. It was the same way back then. Paul is not saying it’s a sin to cut your hair. He is saying that it’s a sin to do something disgraceful to God on purpose.

“For man did not come from woman, but woman from man; neither was man created for woman, but woman for man.”

Someone once told me that God created man first so He could learn what not to do. We know that’s a lie because God doesn’t mess up. However, they were made first but they were made out of the dirt. We were made out of the rib of man. We are much more than just dirt. (No offense to you guys lol). Even though we were made of much more than dirt however when Adam was lonely God created Eve as a partner as he wasn’t compatible with the others in the garden. “Nevertheless, in the Lord woman is not independent of man, nor is man independent of woman.”

We are made for each other and for that we must not fight each other for what roles we don’t have, but embrace and take care of the responsibilities God has given us.
