Revival
“Lord, I have heard the report about You and I fear. O Lord, revive Your work in the midst of the years, In the midst of the years, make it known; In wrath remember mercy.”
Habakkuk 3:2 NASB1995
Revival is not man-made. It doesn’t start with the man whose heart lit a flame. And it doesn’t start with a Church opening its doors to the young. It starts with God. Revival is when God hears the cry of His people and says to them I will awaken you from your slumber. You will no longer be prone to choosing sin every time it knocks and you will be set free from your change. He will raise the dead in spirit and make them sing a new song. One of peace and love. One that reminds them of water they can drink that will quench their thirst. It’s when people run to the Lord with open arms unashamed of who they now belong to.
Don’t you see that God wants revival? What parent does not want their kid to come to them? If a pagan can do so then how much more does God? Yet we are an adulterous and wicked nation that closes its heart to God! When God says He wants to use us we turn to Him and reply like Jonah saying we don’t want to, use someone else! So how can we blame God the creator for not starting a revival when we believe we are wiser than God himself? It is the same as asking God to send someone to give food to a homeless man yet when God tells us He will send us to feed the hungry we snark at Him and disobey at Him. What man asks his friend to build a home that he may purchase from him yet when he creates it he turns away? Yet we do that with God constantly. So what is revival? Revival is when God sets the flame and we listen to Him.
This one is just so good!🔥🔥🔥
