My Favorite Bible Verse

"But I trust in your unfailing love; my heart rejoices in your salvation.”

My favorite Bible passage is Psalm 13:

“How long, Lord? Will you forget me forever? How long will you hide your face from me? How long must I wrestle with my thoughts and day after day have sorrow in my heart? How long will my enemy triumph over me? Look on me and answer, Lord my God. Give light to my eyes, or I will sleep in death, and my enemy will say, “I have overcome him,” and my foes will rejoice when I fall. But I trust in your unfailing love; my heart rejoices in your salvation.”

‭‭Psalms‬ ‭13:1-5‬ ‭NIV‬‬

With my favorite verse in the whole Bible being the last line. Now you might think why? Its a lament . It’s such a depressing section of the Bible and it doesn’t make you feel better. But that’s the whole point. Even when we are still in the midst of the battle, even when we don’t see the solution yet, even when we are still sad with the outcome, praise God. David was going through a hard time with enemies surrounding him on all sides even his own son has turned against him. Yet he still praised God. He was clueless and didn’t know what will happen next but He knew that God had done good to Him before and that He will continue to do good. He remained hopeful and faithful knowing that even though it didn’t seem like things will ever get better, he trusted God. And knew that through all his days, that He was faithful. So my message to you is that even when things see like they will ever get better, praise God because it will. Praise Him before you even see a victory. Trust Him , because He is good and just.
