Building on Solid Ground

Have you ever heard the song build my life by Patt Barrett? One of my favorite lyrics is "I will build my life upon your love it is a firm foundation." We know that God's love never fails. So if we build our life upon His love than we will not be shaken. That's one of the wisest things we could do! If your friend were to build a house on something unstable compared to a solid ground, we would think they are crazy right? So who are we to build the foundation of our life on shaky ground? When we build our life on God's love we create a firm foundation for every aspect of it. We no longer just have us to think about but the lives of others too. Whether it's our children, family, or friends our life affects theirs too. So if we have been blessed with the opportunity to build on solid ground, create a stable life for our family and friends, and grow in Spirit with God, than why would we not take it? Building our life on God's love is the key to a successful life.
