Value

We are weak. We are nothing but the dust of the earth. Our value less than pennies . Our purpose to be something one wipes away. Yet we have been blessed with the breath of life. His spirit lives in us. Our body being a temple. Nothing but nothingness we are if it wasn’t for God. Value not coming from us but from Him. A piece of pottery is just a piece of pottery. But if created by Da Vinci it is worth more than gold. So how can we say a piece of pottery is valuable due to its creator yet not say to ourselves that we are valuable due to who created us? Can we say to our creator that His work is worthless? Can we get rid of our worth or grow it by achievements? So how can we say to ourselves we are not valuable when the one who created us is greater than he who is in the world?

Let’s pray,

Dear Heavenly Father, we come to you in order to pray for our hearts. May we be reminded of who you are and who we are because of you. May our hearts be tuned to yours, always pursuing your will. I ask that you remind me to acknowledge you in all that I do. In Jesus name Amen.
