“Are not all angels ministering spirits sent to serve those who will inherit salvation.” Hebrews 1:14
Angels are described as God’s servants. Many times, they are delivering news (Luke 1:19), standing guard (Daniel 12:1), and helping God’s children (Genesis 19:10). But no matter what they do it’s always to get God’s message across. But the question arises, why did God even create angels if He is so powerful? The answer is the same to why He created us, to why He created the stars in the sky, the flowers in the trees. It’s because of love. God is love and out of love He created angels to be ministering spirits for us and our salvation (Hebrews 1:14). There are many more reason for their creation as there are more reasons for our creation as well such as worship (Isaiah 43:21). But a flower may be made for the pleasure of our eyes but that was not it’s only reason as being made. The flower provides pollen for the bees, fruit for our stomach, and a habitat for the insects of the earth. Their main purpose may not be known, but they were created by God out of one thing. For Him and for His love for us.
